This was a unique request as we were given the challenge of building an office space inside a functioning chiller operating at 2°C

 

To do this we constructed a mezzanine floor to keep the floor space for stock but also give us an additional space for a new office.

Using PIR insulated panel we managed to build a unique office compromising of multiple offices, a toilet and changing rooms, a canteen and also a large open plan office. We fitted windows to allow natural light in from the outside and windows internally to allow the staff to monitor the works being carried out within the chiller. A sound proofing was installed above to reduce any noise from the chiller operations to ensure the office is a peaceful environment to work in. This project took 3 weeks to complete and has now provided over 200 square meter of additional office space without compromising the chiller capacity so fully utilising the space available.
